An Active musician, Jill Kaeding, is known for her versitility in all
mediums of music. As the 'cellist of the West End String Quartet, she
performs with Corky Siegel's Chamber Blues, an inspiring blend of blues
harmonica, piano, string quartet and percussion, Chamber Blues has just
released its second CD - "Complimentary Colors" on
Gadfy Records and has performed throughout North America including Symphony
Center Chicago, The Chataqua Institute of New York, and the Montreal
Jazz Festival.
Jill is also a member
of the chamber group Trio Elan which has released the compact disc "Premiere,"
and the Revolution Ensemble, a group featuring a combination of string
quartet and jazz quartet. In addition to private teaching and numerous
solo performances, Jill is a member of the highly acclaimed Metropolis
Symphony.
Jill's son, Coleman,
is an aspiring pianist, following in the footsteps of his well-known
saxophone-playing father, Jim Gailorette.
